Who you are:
- Completion of a State-approved Caregivers Classs approve throught the NCIA Board.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions in English
- Basic math skills and accurate documentation ability
- Prior experience in senior care or assisted living
- Able to obtain or have current CPR/First Aide certification
- Able to obtain or have Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Able to obtain or have Food Handler’s Card
- Valid TB Test
Job Summary:
- Accurately prepare, administer, and chart oral, topical, and suppository medications
- Ensure all medications are administered as prescribed, following proper protocols
- Verify medication information against orders and labels for accuracy
- Clearly identify residents before administering medications
- Maintain proper documentation of medications and treatments provided
