Job Summary:

 

Liberty Tire Recycling is looking for a Box Truck Driver.  As a driver, you will be going out to main stores to pick up their used tires. You will be going out with a Route Helper, a team of 2. Both of you are responsible for manually loading and stacking these used tires onto the back of the trucks. Each tire can weigh up to 50 lbs. at our Atlanta, GA. facility.   

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • CDL Class A License required
  • 1 year experience CDL driving experience
  • Must have and maintain acceptable MVR in compliance with DOT
  • Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience or equivalent military experience
  • Must pass post-offer background and drug test
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
  • Must be willing to work overtime and Saturdays as needed and some on Holiday’s.
  • Must be willing to start at 6:00 AM on most days and the ending time for the day depends on your daily route.
  • Must be willing to load and lace the tires into the trailers.
  • Must be willing to always be professional at our tire stores


Skills and Abilities:

  • CDL Class A License required
  • 22 years of age with clean driving record
  • Must have and maintain acceptable MVR


Education and Experience:

  • Prior experience in the tire recycling or manufacturing industry is a plus.
