Description

The NA Majors Casualty team is looking for a Senior Analyst to provide support for one of Liberty Mutual’s largest customers. In this role you will aid with profit, growth, and operational objectives for the account through pricing, evaluating & monitoring performance, supporting internal stakeholders, and providing consultative support to the customer. You will build a deep level of knowledge and expertise of the account to support meaningful analyses around drivers of loss, impact of business strategy and other operational changes, macro effects, etc. Driving efficiency and improvement in tools is also a requirement.  The successful candidate will possess strong technical, analytical and communication skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to execute thoroughly in a collaborative environment.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead monthly reporting and external data submissions.
  • Work closely with the account team, providing data, monitoring, and analytics support aligned with profitability and growth goals. 
  • Perform analyses to assist business decision making and strategy development.
  • Maintain and enhance loss monitoring Power BI dashboard.
  • Collaborate with Data Solutions and NA Data Office to help bring new data solutions to the team, streamline/automate processes, and optimize dashboards.
  • Provide clear and concise communication of technical work.
  • Drive continuous improvement of processes and methodology.
  • Proactively identify training opportunities; create & deliver content accordingly.
  • Maintain clear and concise documentation of methods and activities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree plus a minimum 3 years, typically 4 or more years of experience, or equivalent, is required.
  • Mathematics, Economics, Statistics or other quantitative field are preferred fields of study.
  • Advanced knowledge of data sources, tools, statistical principles and methodologies, and techniques.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (VBA, macros, scripts, formulas, data visualization, etc.), PowerPoint, and statistical software packages (SAS).
  • Power BI experience preferred
  • Must have good planning, analytical, decision-making and communication skills. Solid understanding of business to improve business outcomes.

The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
