  • Optimise and manage the reporting structure in the consolidated financial reporting system: developing, reviewing and testing the technical implementation of new and changed KPIs.

  • Benchmark Opcos / business segments to ensure capital is appropriately allocated and identify best practices to be shared across the Group.

  • Lead the Group’s long-range planning processes – the Long Range Plan and Long Range Roll.

  • Perform appropriate scenario / sensitivity analysis, in the context of macro events, competitive developments and strategy.

  • Co-ordinate with Investor Relations to support external messaging.

  • Develop and monitor in-year employee bonus plans and multi-year Executive LTIP schemes.

  • Analyse deviations from original plans and provide recommendations for course correction.

  • Co-ordinate with Tax, Treasury and Technical Accounting to manage below-OFCF metrics (Interest Income, Interest Expense, Working Capital, Tax) in monthly reporting, rolling forecasts and long-term planning.

  • Support Strategy and M&A with capital structure and financing assumptions for standalone financials where relevant.

  • Optimise and manage liquidity-related reporting, ensuring consistent implementation of new and updated KPIs.

Strategic Finance & Growth Support

  • Provide ad hoc support on business planning and narrative development for senior management presentations (FLT, ELT).

  • Lead and manage the preparation of detailed financial models to analyze the impact of the transaction on key financial metrics and value drivers

  • Lead work with Strategy and / or M&A to challenge key business plan assumptions and ensure key finance inputs such as Tax, Treasury, Working Capital and Accounting are confirmed by the relevant subject matter experts

  • Support delivery of alignment of Corporate Shared Services and costs to the portfolio.

Leadership & Internal Engagement

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing finance team, embedding a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.

  • Facilitate relationship building between Liberty Global and portfolio businesses.

  • Contribute to Liberty Global’s internal initiatives, including recruitment, training, marketing and networking
