You’ll be the first point of contact for potential partners, responsible for assessing fit, conducting initial conversations, and collaborating with internal teams to move promising opportunities forward. This is a hands-on, externally facing role ideal for someone who is proactive, commercially minded, and passionate about building relationships.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What you’ll be doing</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Identify and research potential partners aligned with Liberis’ strategic goals.</li> <li>Initiate outreach and manage first-level conversations with prospective partners.</li> <li>Proactively generate leads and build a robust pipeline through research, networking, and event participation.</li> <li>Qualify inbound and outbound partnership opportunities, conducting initial vetting to assess fit and potential value.</li> <li>Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and introductory materials to external parties.</li> <li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Product, Legal, Partnerships) to ensure smooth handover of qualified opportunities.</li> <li>Maintain accurate records of pipeline activity and partner interactions in CRM systems.</li> <li>Support the negotiation of partnership terms and assist in onboarding new partners as needed.</li> <li>Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments.<br><br></li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Additional responsibilities:</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Develop tailored proposals and pitch materials for prospective partners.</li> <li>Support commercial negotiations and assist with structuring partnership agreements.</li> <li>Track and report on business development activities, ensuring accurate pipeline management and performance analysis.</li> <li>Identify and implement process improvements to enhance business development effectiveness.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What we think you’ll need</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>8+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or a related commercial role.</li> <li>Experience in fintech, SaaS, or financial services industries.&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence external stakeholders.</li> <li>Experience conducting initial vetting and qualification of business opportunities.</li> <li>Comfortable working independently and as part of a cross-functional team.</li> <li>Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and follow-through.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What happens next?</strong><br><br></p> <p>Think this sounds like the right next move for you?
