We've raised $72M to date, including a $50M Series B in October 2025, backed by top-tier venture firms.</em></strong></p> <h2><strong>About The Role:</strong></h2> <p>We are looking for a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our development team and help build scalable, reliable, and innovative AI-driven applications.</p> <p>You will join an amazing team of talented and motivated engineers with diverse backgrounds and experience who value collaboration, learning and improvement, trust and respect, and technical excellence. We believe in creating an environment where teammates enjoy working together, celebrate successes, and have fun solving interesting problems.</p> <h2><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Design, develop, and maintain software applications that leverage foundational LLMs and are built with high performance and scalability in mind.</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, product managers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.</li> <li>Write clean, efficient, and well-documented software.</li> <li>Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain the highest standard of code quality.</li> <li>Contribute to the architectural design and decisions that shape the future of our AI platform.</li> <li>Advance technical progress, gaining buy-in across the organization and ensuring alignment on strategic initiatives.</li> <li>Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across the entire stack, and contribute to the on-call rotation to ensure system reliability.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>5+ years experience writing high-quality production software in Python.</li> <li>Extensive experience writing asynchronous, high throughput software.&nbsp;</li> <li>Extensive experience with FastAPI, Django, asyncio.</li> <li>Experience with NodeJS, React, Typescript and or Express.</li> <li>Proficiency in SQL and have experience working with real-time distributed data processing systems like RabbitMQ, SNS, SQS.&nbsp;</li> <li>Passionate about&nbsp; exploring emerging technology, and apply your curiosity to your work.</li> <li>Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, and familiarity with DevOps practices.</li> <li>Comfortability in navigating ambiguity, making trade-offs to deliver features today without compromising long-term quality, and driving innovation.</li> <li>Thrive in a collaborative, fully remote, distributed team environment and have experience working asynchronously.</li> <li>Learn from mistakes, adapt quickly, and maintain a forward-focused mindset.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Experience working with foundational LLMs and understand the various approaches to maximizing their efficiency.</li> <li>Experience in regulated industries.</li> <li>Previously worked in high-growth, fast paced environments.</li> </ul> <p><strong>*Hybrid role requiring 2 days per week in Berkeley or Boston.
