SQL & Application Development Specialist

Job Description
 

We are looking for a highly motivated SQL-Specialist to help our IT Application Management team in growing, optimizing and maintaining our Master Data Management System, the interface reconciliation platform, the data quality management solution and other initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage the entire development lifecycle from requirements analysis over development, testing, deployment and maintenance;

• Complex T-SQL queries to build database interfaces in the area of data integration, interface reconciliation, master data management and data quality management;

• Interact with the other application management teams to further enhance interfaces and reconciliations by using complex T-SQL queries, Workato, Power BI;

• Utilize our low-code iPaaS-Solution Workato for system integrations and reconciliations;

• Document technical implementations and processes thoroughly;

• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure system scalability and reliability.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer/Data Science, Mathematical/Engineering or related discipline with IT focus;

• Highly experienced in SQL with Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL);

• Proven knowledge of application management and hands-on experience in application development;

• Minimum of 5 years relevant working experience required;

• Prior experience in the financial industry and specific knowledge in asset management;

• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with a structured and solution-oriented approach;

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt to both technical and non-technical audiences;

• Fluent in English (spoken and written) and German would be an advantage;

• Hands-on mindset with proven ability to deliver results;

• Experience in Software development is a strong plus;

• Familiarity with iPaaS solutions (e.g. Workato) is considered an asset.
