About Lexroom
Lexroom sets the bar for legal AI — clear, fast, and built for trust. In just a few years, what began as an idea has become a reliable platform adopted by thousands of legal professionals across Europe. Backed by top-tier investors and a world-class team of 70+, we're now entering the German market.
We're looking for a Legal Expert to join us in Berlin as one of our first German hires. You'll sit at the intersection of law and technology — validating our product, shaping our legal AI, and helping build something that is redefining how lawyers work.
Why Lexroom?
- Shape the Standard: Be part of the team setting the benchmark for legal AI in Europe.
- Work with the Best: Collaborate with exceptional colleagues in a culture that values competence, curiosity, and ambition.
- Deliver Meaningful Results: Your contribution will directly influence how legal professionals work — faster, clearer, and more efficiently.
The Role
You will be the legal voice inside the product team — testing, validating, and steering our AI to meet the high standards of German legal professionals.
- Product Validation: Be the first expert to test and validate Lexroom's legal AI product for the German market, ensuring accuracy and trustworthiness.
- Legal Database: Establish and maintain processes to keep our proprietary legal database updated, relevant, and consistent.
- User Feedback: Collect and synthesize feedback from legal professionals to steer product development in the right direction.
- AI Training: Collaborate with data annotators and AI engineers to define and create high-quality validation and training datasets.
- Partnerships: Work closely with partner firms to define data acquisition priorities and identify relevant legal sources.
- Set the Tone: As one of the first hires, you'll shape the culture and standards for future colleagues.
What We're Looking For
- Legal Background: 1–3 years of experience in the German legal field. You don't need a full Staatsexamen — but you must be comfortable presenting to and working alongside lawyers.
- Curiosity: A desire to pursue an alternative career path at the intersection of law and technology.
- Strong Plus: Experience in product management, program management, or managing legal knowledge bases.
- Language: Fluent German and English.
What We Offer
- Salary: €65,000 – €90,000 per year
- Equity: Stock options to align your growth with the company's long-term success
- Benefits: Health insurance, meal vouchers, performance bonuses, team retreats & off-sites
