Maintains safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.
Essential Job Functions:
Welcome guests by greeting them per Lev Group standards and respond to customer queries by resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner to ensure customer satisfaction
Promote and maintain the highest level of customer service to all guests while staying alert to their needs
Knowledgeable with regards to operating hours of the restaurant and any promotion/events
Respond to the scene of guest or employee accidents and determine if emergency aid is required, notify HR & Risk Management
Assist guests or employees during emergency situations, such as fire, evacuation, flood, severe weather, bomb threat, robbery, natural disasters, etc.
Notify manager/supervisor, local police, or other appropriate individuals in the event of accidents, attacks, or other incidents
Communicate specified information regarding guest or employee accidents to EMS/medical personnel as required
Defuse guest or employee disturbances/altercations in accordance with company policies and procedures, including summoning appropriate authorities if necessary, and documenting incident
Complete incident reports to document all Security/Loss Prevention related incidents such as theft, accidents, physical hazards, and fire alarms
Handle business interruptions and complaints, such as suspicious individuals, civil disturbances or demonstrations, noise complaints, intoxicated individuals, etc.
Resolve safety hazard situations
Escort any unwelcome persons (e.g., trespassers, loiterers) from the property without interrupting the orderly flow of property operation
Report to scenes of vehicle accidents/thefts and document all required information.
Call for assistance using proper code responses
Patrol all areas of the property by foot using specified equipment (e.g., flash light, etc.) as needed to ensure guests and employees can enter/exit
Be aware of any perimeter alarm system, duress alarms, and fire life safety systems to ensure that any unusual behavior or emergency situation is dispatched to appropriate personnel for investigation and recorded
Assist or be responsible to lock property entrances during designated times as needed
Conduct daily physical hazard inspections and report any unsafe conditions or work practices
Able to understand and comply with all safety regulations and rules
QualificationsQualifications:
Excellent English communication skills (verbal & written)
Must be effective at listening, understanding guest needs and clarifying concerns and issues raised by guests
Ability to maintain composure during challenging situations
Knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
Excellent customer service
Integrity and professionalism
Flexible; willing to adapt to last-minute schedule changes
Ability to work well with others and independently
Willing to work nights, weekend, and holidays
Must pass a criminal background check
Physical Requirements
Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print)
Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects)
Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems
Move at a speed required to respond to work situations (e.g., run, walk, jog)
Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift
Able to lift at least but not limited to 50 pounds
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects
Ability to lift at least but not limited to 50 pounds and if more must be with assistance
Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
Ability to move quickly turning from left to right or right to left
Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
Education and Required Experience:
Valid Sheriff Card
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Any required health cards to work in Restaurant
