Job Summary

Job Responsibilities

  • Receive material from suppliers, load/unload trucks and deliver to appropriate department/location
  • Review and verify items for shipment are consistent with orders placed; confirm quantities, destination, and method of delivery
  • Document all errors related to orders that are shipped and received
  • Responsible for sorting, counting, packaging, unpacking inventory that is shipped or received.
  • Manually enter data into a computer system for tracking, logging and verifying
  • Perform other miscellaneous tasks related to shipments and incoming materials (i.e., make copies, file records, label inventory)
  • Assist in storage and organization of material
  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
  • Obtain additional training as necessary (i.e., handling hazardous material, operating machinery)
