What Drives Success

This manager is responsible for a team that develops and implements logistics plans that optimize the production, distribution and inventory of finished products.

 

Duties include, but are not limited to: 

  • Develop policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure optimal production supply and finished product distribution.
  • Responsible for transportation of raw materials and/or finished goods, vendor selection and negotiation, distribution of supplies as needed, and inventory control.
  • Conduct distribution and network studies, monitor inventory and analyze requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times and order fill rates.
  • Manage all aspects of leading and developing team members.

What We Are Looking For

Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 8 years related experience.Must have broad expertise in inventory management including anticipating issues, mitigating risks, measurement standards, statistical analysis and inventory policy development. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Analytical and quality improvement skills. Understands the full supply chain and the impact of product cycles on inventory targets. Strong presentation and leadership skills. Strong time management skills. Ability to work independently, manage a team and lead cross-functional work. Expert knowledge of inventory optimization tools and Microsoft applications.

What We Offer

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $99,000 - $130,200 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.

 

Benefits: Subject to applicable eligibility requirements, the following benefits are offered for this role: tuition reimbursement; medical, dental, and vision insurance; prescription drug coverage; 401(k) retirement plan; short-term disability insurance; 8 weeks paid birthing leave; 2 weeks paid bonding leave; life and long-term disability insurance.

 

Depending on date of hire, and subject to applicable eligibility requirements, new employees in this role also receive up to: 12 days paid time off, 2 paid well-being days, 1 paid volunteer day, 12 paid holidays, and 3 floating holidays per year.
