Reporting to the CISO, this leader needs to be both strategic and execution-driven—someone who can set long-term vision enabling business growth and ensuring platform reliability, while building a culture of disciplined, high-quality delivery, particularly in response to regulatory, audit, and risk demands.

What You'll Do

  • Represent operations in executive forums and communicate technical and business risks clearly to senior leadership

Infrastructure Operations

  • Lead strategy and daily operations for all infrastructure domains including cloud services, server platforms, virtualization, storage, network, monitoring, backups, patching, and disaster recovery
  • Oversee system and storage administrators, network engineers, database operations, and security operations engineers
  • Ensure high availability, security, and scalability of all infrastructure components through adoption of best practices and infrastructure-as-code
  • Drive value engineering, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement across the platform stack
  • Establish and manage vendor relationships and infrastructure budgets, including forecasting and procurement

Corporate Technology & End-User Services

  • Manage corporate IT services, including 24x7 desktop support, collaboration tools, end-user devices, identity and access management, and workstation security
  • Own the lifecycle of all desktop applications, hardware, and accessories, ensuring reliability, security, and ease of use
  • Partner with stakeholders and vendors to drive automation, service quality, and operational efficiency across user support and device management
  • Implement and maintain procedures, standards, and controls to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards
  • Measure and report KPIs for IT operations and customer service performance; maintain focus on extraordinary internal customer experiences

Risk, Security & Governance

  • Act as a key partner to Risk, Compliance & Information Security. Translate regulatory requirements into actionable, repeatable processes for your teams
  • Drive operational preparedness for audits, internal assessments, and regulatory reviews
  • Monitor and report on SLA adherence, system performance, and compliance posture across infrastructure and IT services
  • Provide executive & board-level reporting and briefings on platform incidents, availability, and risk mitigation efforts

Culture & Team Leadership

  • Build and lead a high-performing team culture rooted in transparency, collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement
  • Develop a strong management bench; coaching your reports to lead cross-functional work, prioritize effectively, and develop their own teams
  • Promote cross-functional knowledge sharing and operational consistency across technical domains
  • Mentor and develop team members while modeling leadership values and behaviors

About You

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in technical infrastructure, platform engineering, or IT operations, including 7+ years in leadership
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale infrastructure teams in cloud-first or hybrid environments
  • Deep understanding of AWS, virtualization, networking, storage, database operations, and enterprise monitoring
  • Experience operating in a regulated environment (banking, fintech, healthcare, etc.) with a strong grasp of audit, compliance, and governance disciplines
  • Proven success managing 24x7 infrastructure and end-user environments across cloud and hybrid platforms
  • Strong command of IT service delivery and end-user technologies including device management, helpdesk, and collaboration platforms
