Inventory Control Lead (3rd shift)

This position reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor and is responsible for overseeing and participating in daily warehouse operations. Moreover, the role is responsible for promoting our mission of improving patient outcomes with high quality outsourced pharmaceuticals.

Essential Functions:

  • Performs and assists Supervisor in oversight of:
    1. Receipt of incoming consumable materials, Controlled Substances, and Chemicals. Adheres to regulatory compliance. 
    2. Picking, kitting, and sanitization of materials utilized in cleanroom manufacturing. Adheres to guidelines and regulatory requirements to ensure the integrity of Materials supplied to manufacturing. 
    3. Picking and shipping customer orders, accurately meeting customer orders and expectations of quality and regulatory compliance. 
  • Assigns daily tasks to employees. Leads the shift meetings. 
  • Assists in training of peers and junior associates.
  • Serves as Warehouse subject matter expert and a key resource to other Warehouse Associates.
  • Performs warehouse safety walks. Exhibits safe behaviour in accordance with the safety procedures.
  • Performs tasks using a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT). Capable of gaining certification on a stand-up/sit down forklift, reach truck and a cherry picker. Inspects assigned PIT for safety issues. 
  • Executes accurate inventory movements at all times with the use of a scanner. 
  • Voices and supports ideas to continuously improve warehouse operations. 
  • Fosters a collaborative working relationship with all coworkers. 
  • Maintains condition of all warehouse technology, equipment, and facilities. 
  • Performs/manages cycle counts on raw, WIP and finished good materials.
  • Carries out warehouse cleaning duties as assigned. Maintains floor cleanliness and escalates product spills when required.
  • Transports materials between Leiters’ warehouse network as required. 
  • Processes rejected materials and records information as needed. 
  • Provides support to production and other departments as needed.
  • Displays moderate competencies in ERP functions, associated shipping software, and Excel.
  • When applicable, serves as backup to the Supervisor.
  • All other tasks as assigned by Warehouse leadership.

Experience and Necessary Skills: 

  • Minimum of 2 years warehouse experience is required.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English is required.
  • Understanding of ERP systems/scanners is required.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment and/or healthcare industry is preferred.
  • Can effectively teach others how to perform warehouse tasks.
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with controlled environment equipment and area(s).
  • High integrity and dependability.
  • The ability to work in a changing environment.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Willing to work extended hours and complete repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to work on your own or within a team environment.
  • Must pass English Competency Test

Shift: Monday-Friday 11pm-7:30am
