
Leidos has an immediate opening for a Junior Software Engineer on the Systems Engineering & Integration Contract (SEIC), supporting United States Air Force (USAF) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Mission Planning. The selected candidate will join a high-performing agile team supporting a nationally significant and fast-paced program. Program execution follows DevSecOps best practices and employs robust SW development, troubleshooting, test and production environments using a full suite of team collaboration tools. The program is focused on creating new mission planning capabilities while sustaining the fielded operational system. Candidate will generate technical solutions comprised of many SW/HW products being developed for various deployment environments. The ideal candidate must possess a high level of energy and be extremely proactive in collaborating in a fast-paced environment with a very diverse set of stakeholders. The environment demands the ability to quickly establish solid working relationships with coworkers and customers to effectively integrate into a complex technical program with many moving parts and schedules. Candidate must have at least entry-level experience with software development processes.
Please note this position does allow to telework 2 days a week. To be considered you must be able to be onsite in the Orlando office weekly.
