The Digital Modernization Sector is seeking a highly qualified Chief Engineer to lead the USARPAC Enterprise Pacific IT C5 Solutions (EPICS) program at Ft. Shafter, HI, supporting the INDOPACOM customer to maintain a robust and reliable communication and network infrastructure to execute its mission. The Chief Engineer is responsible for technical planning, system hardware-software-network design, development and integration, verification and validation, and fielding to bring about the successful completion of EPICS program goals and objectives.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide technical leadership and foster strong customer relationships to ensure program success
Evaluates alternatives including cost and risk, supportability and analyses for total systems
Recommends and develops innovative technical solutions, products, and/or standards in support of EPICS strategy and operations
Leads and manages the engineering staff performing systems requirements analysis, functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition, technical management, integration, system testing, and quality assurance
Basic Qualifications:
Masters with 15+ years of prior relevant experience or Doctorate with 13 – 16 years of prior relevant experience.
Appropriate DoD 8140 Level 3 Certification
TS/SCI
Experience in evaluating and improving IT infrastructure and C5 ISR capabilities
Experience providing technical leadership to staff involving multiple complex and interrelated project tasks
Desired Qualifications:
Appropriate CISCO Certification
Appropriate Cloud Solutions Certification (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Experience Leading Network Engineering and Systems Engineering Teams over past 5 years
2 years’ experience developing and implementing DoDAF Architecture for CCMD or Service Components
3+ years’ experience in INDOPACOM AOR leading engineering teams

Pay Range:
Pay Range $154,050.00 - $278,475.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
