Schedule: Flexibility is needed! Part-time to start

Location: Corvallis primarily and occasional travel to Portland during holidays & Summer -Mileage reimbursed (Oregon)

🌻 Client Bio: This family is seeking support for a bright and motivated young adult with Autism who is attending college where supports will be provided. The client is highly capable, social, and enjoys being active in the community. Support is needed to help build independence, strengthen academics, practice social skills, and assist with communication when emotions become challenging.

Client travels home for holidays and summers - The home is a welcoming and positive environment located in Portland, close to parks, the library, and local shops. Both parents are engaged, professional, and committed to collaborating closely with a caregiver who is confident working with youth who may experience frustration, difficulty self-advocating, or occasional emotional dysregulation.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys encouraging growth, fostering life skills, and building supportive connections.

Candidates with experience in Autism, youth services, or education — including recent graduates — are encouraged to apply!

🌻 Who We’re Looking For

18 years or older with 1 or more years of care experience
CPR and First Aid certified or willing to get certified
Own a smartphone
Legal U.S. work authorization and background check
Driver’s license and insurance for some roles
Must own a car to travel for this client to meet them at different locations for the shift

Supporting Daily Living - From helping with meals, bathing, or getting ready for the day, you’ll provide care that helps members feel confident and comfortable.

Building Life Skills - Teach and model everyday skills like cooking, managing money, and understanding social cues - empowering members to grow and thrive.
Keeping Things on Track - Follow care plans, offer medication reminders, and document progress so our team can celebrate every milestone together.
