Summary
Performs routine duties which include the preparation and serving of nutritious and appealing meals. Assists in cleaning the kitchen equipment and facility daily.

Job Duties

• Prepares all menu items and ensures presentation of all menu items adhere to established standards.
• Ensures menu items are prepared in sufficient quantities to satisfy volumes.
• Provides services to cafeteria customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Serves food that is the correct serving temperature and quality.
• Develops and maintains adequate food/supplies and orders.
• Serves employees and guests in the cafeteria line providing courteous service to patrons.
• Maintains condiment area in a neat and sanitary manner and stocks items, as necessary.
• Sets up station appropriately for meal period.

Minimum Qualifications

• Less than 1 year
• Ability to follow strict health and safety standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED Must be 18 years or older.

Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
