Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Global Operations team within the Data, Power, and Control (DPC) division. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and support strategic initiatives that are critical to expanding capacity and driving the continued growth of a rapidly scaling organization.

 

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing high-impact projects across DPC. These projects will span a broad range of topics, including global footprint optimization, work transfers, and capacity expansion programs that strengthen our ability to serve customers with agility and efficiency. The role will be part of the newly created project and transformation office within DPC. This role requires close collaboration across multiple workstreams, including Strategic Sourcing, Health & Safety, Trade & Compliance, and Operations teams, as well as with senior executives across different geographies. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience managing complex, international projects and will excel at stakeholder management, managing leadership, and executive communication.

Key areas of focus will include:

  • Supporting and executing strategic projects to improve capacity and operational performance
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives
  • Engage with organizations both internally and externally to advance DPC's strategic vision

 

Travel: Up to 30%

 

 

What Will You Do?

  • Lead and execute projects globally related to operations excellence, strategy, and transformation as an individual contributor.
  • Assist in developing project charters, documenting scope, timelines, and objectives in alignment with business priorities.
  • Track and report project risks and issues, escalating them when necessary and supporting the implementation of mitigation actions
  • Coordinate day-to-day execution of projects across functional teams such as Operations, Sourcing, Health & Safety, and Compliance.
  • Prepare clear and timely project status updates for managers and stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and next steps.
  • Monitor schedules, track deliverables, and help ensure projects are delivered on time and within defined budgets.
  • Support collaboration between teams in different locations, sharing lessons learned and helping implement standardized practices

Qualifications

Required Skills

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field required
  • Master’s degree (MBA, MS in Operations, or equivalent) preferred

Experience:

  • 3+ years of progressive experience in project management or operations, preferably within a global manufacturing or technology-driven organization
  • Experience with complex, international projects involving multiple workstreams (e.g., procurement, sourcing, health & safety, trade & compliance, and operations)
  • Demonstrated success managing risks, developing project charters, and delivering results in dynamic, high-growth environments

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to collect and interpret project data, highlight key issues, and support problem-solving with structured thinking.
  • Ability to manage day-to-day stakeholder interactions, build working relationships, and maintain open communication across teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience preparing clear project updates, reports, and presentations for internal audiences
  • Demonstrated teamwork and listening skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse functions and geographies
  • Basic influencing skills with the ability to support decision-making and alignment across cross-functional project teams
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in changing environments, with a willingness to learn and grow in international project settings
  • Strong organizational skills to track multiple tasks, deadlines, and deliverables simultaneously
  • Results-driven approach with the ability to translate project objectives into actionable steps and measurable outcomes
  • Must hold a valid passport and be willing to travel domestically or internationally if required
