At a Glance

 

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Pricing Intern (Summer 2026) to join the Electrical Wiring Systems Pass and Seymour Team in Syracuse, NY. This candidate will be an analytical position within the business unit responsible for analysis on pricing, service and other customer related data and metrics, and identifying trends and analysis in an effort to improve customer performance. Opportunity to mentor with Sales, Marketing, Product Management and Finance teams.

 

What Will You Do?

  • Analyze price patterns by territory, customer, product family to provide decision making information to the Regional Managers, Pricing Manager and Product Line Managers proactively.
  • Detailed analysis to improve pocket margin and profitability.
  • Run and distribute monthly price metric reports.
  • Audit Compliance/Tracking.
  • Support projects related to changes at large accounts and new accounts (conversions).
  • Assist in the implementation of any published price increases.
  • Work closely with the field sales organization to provide them feedback for sales representation on stock deals, SPAs, and quotes in their regions or nationally as necessary.
  • Assist in any new price system design, implementation, training and documentation for all affected departments.
  • Analysis and Reporting of call/email/chat volumes coming into Customer Service/Technical Support.
  • Identification of trends in cases loaded into Salesforce.com for process improvement opportunities.
  • Administration of Item Master Maintenance for Pricing data, Guideline Maintenance/Reporting, Cross Reference Tools, Webshop Data, Minimum Advertised Pricing policies.
  • Performs other similar and related duties as required.

Qualifications

Required Skills

 

Education:

  • Enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s degree program in Business, Data Analytics, Finance/Accounting or Marketing.

Preferred experience:

  • One-year coursework in majors above with demonstrated experience in statistical analysis.
  • Experience with Generative AI tools, trends, and uses.  

Qualifications:

  • Must be highly collaborative and able to work in a team-based environment. 
  • Must have excellent problem analysis and problem resolution skills at both a strategic and functional level.
  • Must have the ability to identify trends and establish proactive corrective actions. Strong statistical analysis skills are required.
  • Exceptional computer skills are required, including extensive knowledge of spreadsheet, presentation and data base software, proficiency with various e-mail, calendaring, meeting management and related communications software.
