What You’ll Do:

  • Lead plumbing design and implementation across diverse projects, ensuring systems are optimized for performance, cost, and compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with customers and internal teams to develop detailed designs, calculate system requirements, and recommend installation equipment and solutions tailored to each project.
  • Serve as the primary engineer responsible for assigned projects, ensuring all plumbing components meet operational, safety, and quality standards.
  • Provide documentation including bases of design, narrative specifications, recycled water/dual water reports. 
  • Conduct inspections of plumbing systems, materials, and equipment, ensuring adherence to project specifications and regulatory codes.
  • Assist with fabrication activities when necessary, applying your technical expertise to bring designs from paper to reality.
  • Maintain a current and comprehensive knowledge of plumbing products, industry standards, and emerging technologies to deliver forward-thinking solutions.
  • Evaluate design drawings to guarantee top-quality construction deliverables that align with client and company expectations.

What You Bring:

  • Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing plumbing systems within a construction or engineering environment.
  • High proficiency with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Excel; familiarity with Revit is highly desirable.
  • Strong working knowledge of plumbing codes, materials, specifications, and industry best practices.
  • Exceptional collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability, prioritize tasks, and deliver on schedule without compromising quality.
  • Professional Engineering license and LEED certification is a plus, and a passion for sustainability is even better.
