Assistant Project Manager – The Bowers Group (Beltsville, MD)

About the Role
The Bowers Group, a Legence company, is seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Assistant Project Manager to join our team. This is an in-field position based in the DMV area that will help drive the delivery of data center projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Manager in all aspects of the project.
  • Communicate and coordinate with the general contractor.
  • Write purchase orders for material and equipment as required.
  • Manage RFI process.
  • Manage submittal process and log.
  • Attend client project meetings.

 


Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of mechanical project management experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to walk long distances, stand for extended periods of time and traverse different types of terrain and elevations
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs from different levels

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Data center project experience
