Job Description

At L&G, we’re on a mission to help tackle the UK’s housing shortage by delivering high‑quality, affordable homes across London and beyond. We’re looking for a proactive, customer‑focused Sales Consultant to join our growing team and play a key role in delivering our sales strategy.

This role has responsibility for the day to day management of enquiries, progressing sales and will feed into the general sales and marketing strategy for one or a number of developments situated in and around the Thames Valley Region.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys building meaningful customer relationships and wants to make a real impact in the affordable housing space.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing customer enquiries and guiding prospective buyers through the full sales journey, from initial contact to completion
  • Arranging and conducting viewings across multiple developments and supporting open events and valuations
  • Building strong relationships with buyers, colleagues and external partners to encourage engagement and progress sales
  • Using negotiation and influencing skills to secure reservations and support a smooth conveyancing process
  • Working collaboratively with solicitors, brokers and internal teams to progress sales efficiently and within agreed timeframes
  • Maintaining accurate CRM records, sales reports and compliance documentation
  • Providing market insight through competitor analysis and supporting marketing and pricing strategies
  • Coordinating customer handovers, delivering home demonstrations and ensuring a positive move‑in experience

Qualifications

Who we’re looking for:

  • Strong experience in residential sales, including Shared Ownership
  • A proven track record of meeting targets, KPIs and delivering excellent customer service
  • Confident communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust quickly
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused approach and the ability to adapt in a fast‑paced environment
  • Good understanding of the conveyancing process and experience working with solicitors and brokers
  • Strong IT literacy, including CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across different teams and locations
