Legacy Supply Chain is hiring a Gate Transportation Clerk to support our customer, GE Appliances, inside Appliance Park. As a Gate Transportation Clerk, you will be responsible for processing inbound and outbound drivers at Appliance Park. This position offers a comprehensive benefits package including a 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match.

Schedule and Compensation

• Wednesday 7:00am to 3:00pm, Thursday and Friday 7:00am to 5:00pm, Saturday 7:00am to 7:00pm
• Starting pay $18.00 per hour.

Job Details

What to expect as a Gate Transportation Clerk:

• Process inbound/outbound drivers through TrackX/ CICS
• Verify SCAC, trailer numbers and correct paperwork are provided at time of arrival.
• Verify Bill of Lading matches physical trailer upon departure of Appliance Park.
• Verify trailer accuracy by performing lot checks in a company vehicle.

Qualifications:

• Experience working in team-oriented environment.
• Transportation or warehouse experience preferred.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent judgment and decision making
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Application Software, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Excellent customer service
