Quality Coordinator - Job Overview

Schedule: Monday-Friday (8AM-5PM) | Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and drive the future of clinical quality measures like UDS, HEDIS, and STAR through advanced data analytics and gap analysis.
  • Enhance clinical documentation and coding accuracy with state-of-the-art EMR tools.
  • Champion quality improvement tools and strategies for superior preventive care and chronic disease management.
  • Lead the implementation of transformative Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs) and Root Cause Analyses (RCAs).
  • Facilitate progressive clinic quality check-ins and quality workgroups to fast-track innovation and improvement.
  • Generate insightful quality reports and dashboards to inform strategic decisions and frontline innovation.
  • Engage with interdisciplinary quality committees and disruptive project teams.
  • Foster seamless communication between the Quality Department and clinic teams to harmonize quality goals.
  • Lead training sessions to inspire a collaborative work environment aligned with Legacy's mission.
  • Mentor incoming staff and volunteers, driving the next wave of healthcare innovators.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, a must.
  • CPHQ certification within 12 months of hire, marking your commitment to excellence.
  • Minimum one year of customer service experience in healthcare, showcasing your foundational skills.
  • Experience with quality improvement, data collection, and regulatory compliance, desired.
  • 1+ years EPIC EMR experience, preferred to push the boundaries of healthcare technology.
  • Exceptional communication skills, vital for collaborative innovation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and web-based applications, empowering your digital transformation journey.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, driving breakthrough solutions.
  • Experience in project coordination/management, advantageous for pioneering projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of U.S. healthcare systems and quality standards (UDS, HEDIS, NCQA, HRSA).
  • Ability to facilitate staff education and champion change management.
