We are currently seeking Screener Intake / Mental Health Counselors!

Independent contractor position with flexible schedule. 15+ or 25+ hours a week.
Skills/ Requirements
- St. Lucie County; office in person.
- Master's Degree in Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work or related fields;
- Licensed (LMHC, LCSW);
- Experience in working with children and families;
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Screener to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting screenings to assess individuals' mental well-being. You will play a critical role in identifying mental health issues and providing appropriate referrals or recommendations. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to patient care, and an understanding of various therapeutic modalities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct mental health assessments.
- Gather and document relevant health information from individuals in a clear and organized manner.
- Detailed description will be provided during interview.
Experience
- A background in healthcare, psychology, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience or training in art therapy is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse populations are essential.
- Previous experience in a clinical or community health setting is advantageous.
