About this role

We are hiring Seasonal Helicopter Drill Pilots with a minimum of 1000 hours total time and safety is the top priority, and the perks are endless!

***This position is based out of Terrace and flying across the North.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Operate aircraft safely and efficiently, adhering to all Summit Helicopters policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • Current CPL(H)

  • Minimum 1,000 hours total time

  • Bell 407 type endorsement (Intermediate Type equivalent) and 412 is an asset.

  • Type endorsement can be provided for the successful candidate

  • Minimum 200 hours on type (Bell 407/412)

  • Mountain course required (BC Wildfire Requirement)

  • Vertical Reference (long-line, drill moves, seismic) experience required

  • Experience in mountainous terrain and confined landing sites required

  • Previous Medium Type an asset

  • Powerline experience an asset

  • Firefighting Experience

  • Remote winter operations experience would be an asset

  • Collaborative, ​independent, and professional attitude

  • Previous Wildlife Capture/Survey experience

  • Hydro and Class 'D' ​exposure appreciated
