Position overview:

 

Our future process engineer will be responsible for setting and optimizing the process flow in the Trim plant. Designing and managing the Manufacturing of tooling and improve continuously the process and equipment.

 

Additional duties will include (but may not be limited to):

 

  • Plan, organize, direct and control the activities of his area in order to provide technical production support to other areas of engineering, maintenance and production.
  • Manage and monitor the development of specific resources and manufacturing procedures.
  • Participate with technical staff, the customers, the suppliers in the development and the modifications of the machines and tools necessary for the manufacturing, by presenting proposals for improvement for the evolution of the products and the future needs of the company.
  • Ensure, In conjunction with quality & the health, safety & environment coordinator, the performances and the approval of the machines.
  • Study the procedures for making proposals concerning the adaptation of machines and the adoption of adequate technical means for mass production.
  • Collaborate with other engineering and production areas for lay-out changes.
  • Encourage new developments in the means of production while ensuring the optimization of production procedures.
  • Provide support and assistance to his team in carrying out the development work.
  • Design, run, test and upgrade systems and processes.

 

To be a success in this role you must have:

 

  • Technical engineering degree with at least 2 years’ experience working in similar activity (Sewing/Polyurethan injection – Automotive industry)
  • Ownership & independence of mind, Analytical, methodical, and organized
  • Very good writing and communication skills
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office, CATIA and AUTOCAD is a must.
  • Immediate availability will be a +.

 

 

Language Skills:

 

  • Good communication skills in both French and English
