NEW CAREER OPORTUNITY – Launch Engineer
Piedras Negras Campus

 

Responsible to support the implementation of new lines, equipment, products and follow up the extra capacity equipment arriving to Piedras Negras Campus (buy-off / PPAP / SOP+90), achieving accorded manufacturing standards within cost target via strong communication & coordination between Southfield & Mexico Central Office with Piedras Negras Plants team.

 

YOUR TASK WILL BE:

 

  • Buy-off process coordination for new equipment.
  • Corporate and integrator coordination for new process equipment and open issues list process.
  • Coordinate equipment launch with the quality and efficiency required for all new process.
  • Coordinate pilot and prototype builds, and/or PTR’s.
  • Run at Rate development experience and deliver equipment capacity correct.
  • Engineering and Quality process core tools manage.

 

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU MUST HAVE:

 

  • Professional degree in engineering or any related field completed.
  • +3 years of experience in projects launch, engineering changes and transfers.
  • Assembly, torque, riveting, GMAW & Laser Welding process experience.
  • GD&T Knowledge and drawings interpretation.
  • Teamwork skills and effective communication with campus team members.
  • Travel availability, passport and US visa.
  • Conversational Advanced English level. Indispensable professional skill for position.
