Position overview:

 

Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, our future Customer Quality Coordinator will have as main missions to.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Supervises the project dedicated lab team
  • Supervises the external quality engineering team
  • Manages the quality deduction spending and accrual accounts
  • Foresees problems at customer line which could lead to a claim.
  • Builds a tight and solid professional relationship with customer at plant level.
  • Ensures an open and straight communication line between customer and Lear Plants.
  • Proactive channeling of information on existing claims to the Plant to perform the analysis and solve them.
  • Manages Quality figures (PPM, DEMIF or any other customer indicator) at plant level
  • Plans, coordinates and controls customer support activities with the objective to assure that reporting deadlines and requests are fulfilled within the required deadlines
  • Plans, coordinates and controls laboratory activities with the objective to assure that products and materials meet the required quality standards and drawings specifications.
  • Plans laboratory testing projects and analyses and controls the research and application cost and invests to execute them.
  • Contacts clients and suppliers to manage resources, materials and equipment needed for tests.
  • Introduces into his field of responsibility new technologies, testing techniques and changes in legal or customer requirements.
  • Assures project development confidentiality.
  • Accomplished internal norms and policies.
  • Have the authority to stop production and shippement in case of non-conformity
  • Customer's KPI monitoring through B2B/porta or standard communications and scorecard analysis,
  • Project milestones follow up and PPAP validation.
  • Ensure the conformance of products and processes according IATF, Customer specific requirements, and regulatory requirements and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

 

 

 

Key skills and Qualifications:

 

  • University Degree (Engineer or equivalent).
  • Decision-making authority related to quality conformity and customer protection.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality, preferably in an automotive or industrial environment.
  • Proficiency in both English & French languages, spoken and written
