We are in position to offer a great job opportunity to work as a Advanced Process Engineer Sr, based in Apodaca Plant, Apodaca, Nuevo León, México. (E-Systems Division).
As an Advanced Process Engineer Sr, you will be responsible to development, optimization and implementation of surface mount processes, to ensure efficient, high-quality and cost-effective production.
Your Tasks will be:
• Develop and control engineering releases, process changes, and efficiency improvements.
• Apply quality tools such as PFMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow, and Core Tools.
• Support multifunctional teams in implementing best practices and lessons learned.
• Ensure compliance with IATF standards and customer-specific requirements.
• Perform cost analysis, cycle time estimation, and process flow evaluation for existing and new products.
• Collaborate with the cost engineering team to estimate manufacturing costs and optimize resource utilization.
• Work closely with customers and internal teams to align SMT and backend processes with OEM and Tier 1 supplier requirements.
• Support customer audits and technical reviews by providing process documentation and validation reports.
• Train manufacturing and engineering personnel in best practices for SMT, backend processes, and troubleshooting techniques.
To be successful in this role you will need:
• Education: Industrial, Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering, or any related field.
• Experience in automotive electronics needed.
• Knowledge in Manufacturing Cost Analysis, Quoting, Capacity Analysis, Conformal Coating, Functional Testing, and Assembly Processes
• Core Tools, IPC 610, PFMA, Process Flow, DFM and Problem-solving knowledge.
• 8+ years of experience in Engineering Areas.
• Proficient English level.
