Position overview:

Reporting directly to the Plant Controller. The accountant is responsible for recording & controlling Fixed assets, Inventory, VAT…

Key Responsibilities:

• Manual journal entries related to Fixed asset & Inventory preparation
• Prepare monthly FA/CIP/depreciation reconciliations
• Assist GL supervisor in VAT declaration & reimbursment
• Add FA in the subledger timely, ensure proper useful life is applied
• FA Tagging process
• Close accruals calculation based on weekly cost & invoicing controls
• Ensure reported accounts are in compliance with External Audit diligences.

Key skills and Qualifications:

• Accountant master’s degree
• Accounting experience in at least as intern
• Accounting technics & knowledge
• Moroccan accounting principles mastering
• Proficiency in both English & French languages, spoken and written
