Summary:

Complete, direct and/or coordinate all activities that pertain to the receiving area.

Essential Job Duties:

Ensure a 100% safe environment by utilizing safety protocols and equipment, report any inconsistencies.

Unload all material (Steel coils) from trucks using overhead crane or hilo.

Inspect all material to verify gauge and material against Purchase Order.

•  Ensure 100% inspection of material.
•  Cut quality samples using torch.

Receive material into Stratix system. Print tag and label all material with bar code tag.

Place incoming material in designated areas. Must be organized and safely stacked and chained.

Pull material from designated area in preparation for use in slitters.

Maintain a clean area at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Demonstrated commitment t0 safety and quality.

Must be able to operate overhead crane.

Must be able to operate forklift.

Must be able to operate torch.

General knowledge of computers.

Able to read electronic mic and caliper.

Ability to work without supervision. Self-motivated.

Work Environment

Fast paced environment.

The Noise level is loud.

Primarily work indoors, with occasional outdoor duties. The workspace is minimally climate controlled.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, climb, bend,

reach, sit, and talk or hear.

The employee is often required to stand and walk for more than 75% and occasionally up to 90% of the

workday.

The employee is often required to lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally required to lift up to 75 pounds.

Education:

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
