Language Trainers is a successful language training company working with freelance teachers of 99+ different languages in hundreds of towns and cities across the world. Students are either in-company or self-funded who need to learn a language at their office or their home for work, family or travel reasons. We might have a job for you as a Cantonese teacher.
Some details about the course:
- One of our clients in Guelph would like to have one-to-one GENERAL Cantonese classes.
- This student wishes to have classes at Rick Café at 8 Douglas St, Guelph, ON N1H 2S9.
- She would like to have a 20-hour course.
- Classes of two hours should be held once per week, on Fridays from 6pm - 8pm, Saturdays from 9am - 12pm or Sundays anytime between 9am - 12pm,and s/he wishes to start asap.
Information about this student:
Availability:Apart from the preferred schedule above, evenings on most weekdays or mornings during weekends could work (please specify when)
Location: Apart from Rick Café, it can also be a quiet café in downtown Guelph or a public location halfway from you both.
Estimated Current Language Level: Elementary
Native language English
Motivation: I work at an ultrasound and x-ray clinic. There are a lot of Cantonese patients.
Student's age group: B: 18-24

Ideal teacher should:
- Be a native Cantonese speaker of the language and hold a teaching degree
- Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
- Have a valid working visa
- Live up to 20 miles from the client's location.
Location of the classes and schedule could be flexible based on your and the client’s availability. The hourly rate is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience. This is a freelance part-time position and we are not able to sponsor your visa.
