A School Crossing Patrol Co-ordinator is required for the School Crossing Patrol Service across Lancashire. The candidate will report to the School Crossing Patrol Manager and work along side them, assisting them with the day to day running of the service. The hours are from 08:00 – 16:00 weekdays. Payment is Grade 7 currently starting at £32,061.
Candidates will need to pass enhanced DBS clearance and satisfy medical suitability for the post, along with providing 2 suitable references.
Full PPE and training will be given.

The Role
We have a unique position available within the service, working across the Lancashire area. We are looking for a highly motivated person with a good understanding or experience of multi-level management and or supervision.
The post holders will use their knowledge and skills to assist in providing the highway network in Lancashire with a safe and trusted place to ensure safe crossing of children and adults alike.
You will be working within a well-established, organised team where you will be supported and allowed to build on your existing knowledge and skills and actively encouraged to realise your full potential.
The role will involve attending meetings and undertaking site visits. Consequently, the successful applicants will be required to hold a valid driving licence and will be expected to have a motor vehicle available for use on official journeys.
This post is permanent full-time position (37 hours per week). You will be working hybrid between home, office and onsite at various places across the county.
You will be overseeing a small team of Area Organisers who each have 40 plus crossing patrols to supervise. You will be involved in recruitment training and supporting AO's and SCP staff across the area, maintain accurate records and ensure an effective service is provided.
