This role is dedicated to improving access to English language learning and career support for refugees and resettled individuals in rural Lancashire. It involves leading innovative ESOL and employability initiatives by recruiting, training, and supporting local volunteers to deliver community-based classes and workshops. The post holder will design creative solutions to overcome barriers such as transport and isolation, conduct assessments, develop Personal Education and Employment Plans (PEEPs), and monitor learner progress using database systems. Building strong relationships with learners and local stakeholders is essential to promote rural integration and community cohesion. The role requires extensive travel across rural areas and a commitment to face-to-face engagement. This role will work exclusively in rural communities across Lancashire and therefore it is essential that the post holder has a car and is willing to travel across the county.
