Contract Assurance Officer (Contract Management Team – Non Residential Care)

We are excited to offer the role of Contract Assurance Officer in the contract management team working within the non-residential care team within the Strategic and Integrated Commissioning service. 

This opportunity is temporary to cover the permanent post holder's maternity leave and will be until 15th March 2027 subject to the post holder's return.  

Working within non-residential care contract management team, you will have a vital role in ensuring there is a wide range of high-quality adult social care services operating within Lancashire that contribute to improving and maintaining the health, well-being, and quality of life for the people using them. 

You will be responsible for ensuring that commissioned services are delivered in accordance with the contract the services are commissioned against, as well as adhering to market standards. 

As a manager, you will be required to work with Contract Monitoring Officers and support them in their role in managing care provider performance and assessing the quality of care in the market.

The post is based in County Hall, Preston however there is opportunity for some hybrid working. Due to this you will be able to use your own initiative and be flexible with where you work. There will be a requirement for team members to travel across the area/county as required.
