We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Business Support Officer to enhance our established team who will contribute to the key work of the Education and Children's Directorate.

This post is within the Children Looked After Team based at County Hall, Preston PR1 0LD providing outstanding support to operational staff and managers. We are currently working a combination of home and office working, therefore, you will be required to have a suitable working space within your home and broadband connection. If you are unable to provide a suitable homeworking environment, you will be required to work from your office base or nearest suitable office location for your non-office working hours. The office working day for this post is currently Tuesday.
You could be really experienced in administration or looking to build on your previous experience and there's no better place to do this than with us.
What we are looking for:
Passion – You'll be passionate about delivering a great service and experience, it's what will motivate you, getting it right first time, asking for support when you need it and building on the skills that you've developed elsewhere.
Knowledge and Experience – Ideally you will have experience of working within an administration setting and have knowledge of using Microsoft packages and databases.
Great Communication – You'll be engaging and providing advice to Managers, Social Workers, families, members of the public and the rest of the team on a daily basis, so being able to clearly communicate the information you need and listen to individual requirements is key.
