About this role

Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Billing Account Coordinator to join our team!  Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day. 

Position Summary:

Assures customer satisfaction with workers compensation and employer billing by working as a team with PNOH to manage the business customer relationship and by handling the employer billing process using a program unique to workers’ compensation and industrial accounts. Interfaces with employers, patients, medical staff, attorneys, work comp carriers, and third-party payers in person, by phone, or by mail to establish and maintain the customer’s billing satisfaction and ensure prompt reimbursement of the accounts receivable. 

Required Qualifications:

Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:

  • One to two years related business experience.
  • PC experience also required.
  • Good figure aptitude and a working knowledge of CPT-4 and ICD-9 coding and State Workers’ Compensation laws.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, problem solving, typing and 10-key skills.
  • Proven proficiency in the operation of personal computers, MS Word, MS Excel, multi-lined telephone, 10-key adding machine, fax machine, and photocopier.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • PC experience also required.

About Lakeview Hospital

A transforming and healing presence on the Northshore since 1977, Lakeview Hospital serves patients from across St. Tammany Parish, including Lacombe, Abita Springs, Madisonville, Covington, Mandeville, Slidell, and beyond.
