Description

Ladew Gardens has openings for part time, weekends, evenings, and special events Visitor Services Team Members. Individuals in this role will have the opportunity to work in the Admissions Building and the Gift Shop.

Primary Duties include:

Greeting visitors, selling admissions, memberships and gift shop merchandise

Providing information for guests, including maps and other materials

Comprehending Ladew membership levels and benefits, and promoting membership sales

Providing accurate and efficient cashiering skills

Receiving and unpacking of inventory

Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications:

Must have strong presentation skills and outstanding customer service skills

Must be computer literate

Required availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays

Working conditions

This job primarily operates in a public gardens environment that has both indoor and outdoor facilities for guests and may be subject to a variety of weather conditions and uneven surfaces/ground. This role routinely uses computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This job also requires to be within gardens, on the grounds of the property, and in areas that the public may not frequent.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands/fingers, handle to feel; and reach with hands and arms. Additionally, this position may be required to lift approximately 20 lbs.
