We’re seeking Animal Care Technicians to join our team! If you’re passionate about animal welfare and eager to start a career in life sciences, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. No experience? No problem—we provide hands-on training to help you succeed.

As an Animal Care Technician, you’ll provide essential care and support for research animals. Your responsibilities include:

  • Feed and care for all species within the animal facility.

  • Change soiled cages and bedding; clean and sanitize animal pens and rooms.

  • Operate cage washers and tunnel washers; maintain sanitation records.

  • Remove waste and bedding from animal pans.

  • Document all cleaning and sanitation practices accurately.

  • Observe animals daily for health and report any concerns.

  • Assist with record keeping, inventory, and laundry tasks.

Pay & Schedule:

  • Pay Range: $18/hr.–$19/hr. plus 5% shift differential.

  • Training: 4–6 weeks, 6:30 AM–3:15 PM CST.

  • Full-time day shift: Start between 6:00–8:00 AM; weekends/holidays required.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18+ and able to read/write English.

  • Overtime and weekend work required.

  • Preferred: High school diploma, 6–12 months animal care or related experience.
