Job Description:

The Korea Principle Program Planner/Scheduler is responsible for the development, integration, and maintenance of complex program schedules, including resource loading, cost/schedule integration, and comprehensive schedule analysis. This role supports program planning activities and facilitates the integration of inputs across all program areas. The successful candidate will collaborate with all elements of the program team to develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and ensure alignment with program objectives.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Develop, maintain, and coordinate Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) to support program objectives and contractual requirements, including standard phases, gates, contract data requirements, and resource loading, for either development and production programs.
  • Able to integrated multiple projects into a master plan maintaining end-to-end ownership of schedule integration between supplemental schedules, the IMS, and the Program Summary Master Schedule.
  • Able to lead program level meetings intended to review critical and driving paths.
  • Actively coordinating with Control Account Managers (CAMs) and cross-functional Integrated Product Team (IPT) members in the development, maintenance, and analysis of work package schedules.
  • Support the program management team in preparation of PMR’s and EAC’s.  Experience with the artifacts required for these reviews.
  • Perform detailed schedule analysis for assigned programs or projects, ensuring integration across all functional groups, including finance, engineering, materials, manufacturing, and quality.
  • Expertise that allows them to audit subcontractor schedules.
  • Analyze program schedules to assess resource needs, schedule status, architecture, critical path, variance, network logic, and baseline maintenance across the enterprise using Gantt charts, milestone charts, critical and driving path analysis, earned value management, and other project management techniques to monitor progress and identify performance variances, enabling timely intervention on critical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with internal program procedures and project control system guidelines.
  • Provide insights into program scheduling trends and best practices to assist program teams in developing achievable schedules.
  • Perform Monte Carlo Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA) on key programs as part of standard work processes.
  • Manage risk and opportunity within the IMS, ensuring proactive identification and mitigation of schedule risks.
  • Identify and recommend effective mitigation plans to ensure the IMS serves as a predictive and valuable management tool.
  • Support multiple programs of varying complexity simultaneously.
  • Drive process improvements to achieve program goals and enhance scheduling practices.
  • Mentor program teams and CAMs in scheduling best practices and Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 12 years of planning experience, or a graduate degree with at least 10 years of related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Project, Excel (including Pivot Tables), Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), including setup, baseline management, maintenance, schedule analysis, critical path analysis, Schedule Risk Assessments (SRAs), and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliveries.
  • Demonstrated experience with schedule health metrics (e.g., DCMA 14-point check) and schedule metric analysis (e.g., BEI, CPLI, SPI).
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Must be able to obtain DoD clearance, current active Secret or higher clearance preferred.

 

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with IPMDAR monthly submittals and DECM metrics.
  • Familiarity with DoD contracts and requirements.
  • Experience using Milestone Pro, including maintenance of One Page schedule views.

 

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $118,000.00 - $219,000.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
