Plumbing Service & Sales Technician

HYDRO-JET NEEDS FROM YOU:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals.</li> <li>Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.</li> <li>Conduct sales visits to new and existing customers.</li> <li>Host and participate in Lunch and Learns.</li> <li>Negotiate contracts and close sales deals.</li> <li>Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.</li> <li>Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities.</li> <li>Provide excellent customer service and follow-up with clients to ensure satisfaction.</li> <li>Clears blocked plumbing lines in commercial buildings.</li> <li>Provide drain cleaning services for grease lines, urinals, difficult access lines, back-to-back lines, damaged lines, ejector pumps, and sump pumps.</li> <li>Repairs and maintains plumbing by replacing washers in leaky faucets, mending burst pipes, and opening clogged drains.</li> <li>Cuts openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.</li> <li>Repairs plumbing fixtures, such as sink pipes, commodes, and garbage disposal unit pop-up assemblies and waste and overflows.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>WHAT SETS YOU APART:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proven outside sales experience with strong consultative, communication, and negotiation skills.</li> <li>High school diploma or GED required (Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred).</li> <li>Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.</li> <li>Excellent organizational, communication, negotiation, and exceptional customer service skills.</li> <li>Hold a current Class C Driver’s License and maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).</li> <li>2 years of service and repair plumbing experience REQUIRED (residential or commercial).</li> <li>Basic mechanical knowledge is needed.</li> <li>Physical Strength: Ability to frequently lift up to 100 pounds (and occasionally over 200 pounds).</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>L.A. Hydro Jet &amp; Rooter Services compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position is $70,000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. L.A.
