About this role
<p>As a <strong>Cable Technician for L.A. Hydro Jet & Rooter Services </strong>for the <strong>Mid-Day Shift (10:00 AM Start Time) </strong>in the Los Angeles area.</p>
<p>You will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing pipes, fittings, and fixtures of water and drainage sewage systems.</p>

<p><strong>WHAT L.A. HYDRO-JET NEEDS FROM YOU:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Clears blocked plumbing lines in commercial and residential buildings.</li>
<li>Provide drain cleaning services for grease lines, urinals, difficult access lines, back-to-back lines, damaged lines, ejector pumps, and sump pumps.</li>
<li>Repairs and maintains plumbing by replacing washers in leaky faucets, mending burst pipes, and opening clogged drains.</li>
<li>Cuts openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.</li>
<li>Repairs plumbing fixtures, such as sink pipes, commodes, and garbage disposal unit pop-up assemblies and waste and overflows.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>WHAT SETS YOU APART:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>2 years of service and repair plumbing experience REQUIRED (residential or commercial).</li>
<li>Basic mechanical knowledge is needed.</li>
<li>Available During Training on Wednesdays for instruction in the Sun Valley office.</li>
<li>Available After Training on Wednesdays for check-in at the Sun Valley office.</li>
<li>Is consistently at work and on time.</li>
<li>The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 200 pounds.</li>
</ul>
<p>L.A. Hydro-Jet and Rooter Service determines compensation based on the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Training pay will start at $20/per hour. After training, pay $19.75 per hour and 27% commission on jobs completed. Pay is based on a number of factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.</p>
