Roles & responsibilities

Execution

•Execute established QA methodologies, processes and test strategies that guide Agile software testing and contribute to overall quality of applications.

•Perform various types of testing including, functional, regression, integration, exploratory and automated testing.

•Defect management using bug tracking tools like JIRA and participates in continuous defect review process.

•Report test progress and outcomes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of test results.

•Ensure timely delivery on QA commitments in a fast-paced product development environment..

•Participate in QA estimation, planning, quality risk analysis and sprint tasks to ensure test activities are aligned with project timelines.

•Identifies opportunities for process improvements working in collaboration with the requirements, development, and project management groups.

Development

•Design, develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases and test scripts for both manual and automated testing.

•Collaborate with product owner, business analyst and development teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.

•Develop test strategies for new features ensuring that all edge cases and scenarios are covered.

•Design test automation scripts and align with regression testing.

•Continuously improve test processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and test coverage.

Mandatory technical & functional skills

•Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC.

•Hands-on experience working in Agile environment on manual and automated testing.

•Proficient with automated frameworks and tools such as Selenium, TestNG or Webdriver IO.

•Familiarity with JIRA/Zephyr for tracking defects and managing test cases.

•Proficiency in Java/Python/JavaScript.

•Familiarity with Git/GitHub Actions and similar version control tools.

•Ability to perform functional, regression and integration testing across multiple platforms.

•Must have experience working with distributed team members.

•Effectively communicate with stakeholders keeping them updated on the progress.

•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills..
