- React & State Management:
- React 16.x (BOTH class and functional components with hooks)
- Redux + React-Redux with Connected React Router
- Redux Thunk for async actions and complex state management
- Custom hooks and cross-component state sharing
- Build & Styling:
- Webpack 5 configuration for multiple environments
- Styled Components (primary styling approach)
- LESS/CSS preprocessors with responsive design
- Babel configuration and ES6+ transpilation
- Component Libraries & API Integration:
- Ant Design v5 and Verizon Design System (@vds/*)
- Axios with interceptors and error handling
- RESTful API integration with retry mechanisms

- Legacy Support:
- Mixed class/functional component codebase maintenance
- Corporate browser compatibility and proxy configurations
- Enterprise authentication and VDS component integration
- Custom Webpack configuration (not create-react-app)
- Domain Knowledge:
- Complex data tables and interactive calculators
- Date/time handling and file upload processing
- Drag-and-drop functionality (@dnd-kit)
- Corporate deployment pipelines and environment management
- RED FLAGS:
- Only modern React hooks (no class component experience)
- No Redux experience or only Context API usage
- Only Bootstrap/Tailwind (no styled-components proficiency)

What you'll do
- The consultant will be responsible for developing and maintaining UI components using React and managing state with Redux. They will also handle API integrations and ensure responsive design across various environments.
