General Description

1) Main Function

• Lead KPJ Group wide management and monitoring of Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) expansion projects in relation to utilization of funds via combination of equity financing / cash and debt financing via bank borrowings.
• To liaise and coordinate with hospitals, subsidiaries and internal stakeholders to ensure proper documentations and compliance with internal policies and governance requirements as well as timely disbursements of funds to support CAPEX.
• To liaise and coordinate with external stakeholders including but not limited to Banks to ensure proper documentations and compliance requirements as well as timely disbursements of funds to support CAPEX.

2) Support Function

• Treasury Operations functionality that will be assigned by superior from time to time.
• Cash Management functionality that will be assigned by superior from time to time.

Job Description

1) Main Function

• Monitoring of cash positions, financing utilisation and CAPEX drawdowns in accordance with approved budgets and financing arrangements.
• Monitoring and tracking of utilisation of funds i.e. combination of equity financing/cash and debt financing via bank borrowings.
• Coordinate with hospitals, subsidiaries and internal stakeholders to obtain, review and verify required documentation such as invoices, certifications, approvals and supporting schedules to facilitate timely financing drawdowns and reporting.
• Liaise with banks and financial institutions on financing-related matters, including drawdowns, repayments, confirmations, facility utilisation and resolution of operational issues, while maintaining effective working relationships.
• Ensure all treasury transactions are properly documented, recorded and maintained with complete audit trails and that all activities comply with internal policies, governance requirements and applicable regulatory standards.

2) Support Function

• Preparation of accurate and timely treasury reports for management review, support internal and external audit processes and assist in continuous improvement of treasury processes, controls and reporting efficiency across the KPJ Group.
• Support Cash Management initiatives to ensure efficiency and maximization of returns.
• Ad-hoc and other tasks that will be assigned by superior from time to time.

Requirement

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Business or related field.
• Professional qualification is an added advantage.
• Detail oriented person.
• Good computer literacy and familiar with Microsoft application.
• Have commendable working attitude and interpersonal skills, and able to work. as an excellent team player under pressures and tight deadlines.
• Possess good proficiency of Bahasa Malaysia and English Language.
