About this role
- ● To adhere to all SMSH, HIMS and Statutory certifications.
● To trace, bind, repair and file all case notes in accordance with standard requirements.
● To collect, sort, and file all loose notes (if any) relevant to the patient registration number and file in corresponding case note daily.
● To ensure all case notes must be presentable i.e., completely bound, when filed. All broken case notes must be fixed or replaced. All returned case notes must be organized and filed back in the HIMS library.
● To ensure HIMS Services are strictly adhere all the time and maintain confidentiality.
● To ensure that all laws and regulations governing the issue and transactions of Medical Certificate Books (MC), Birth and Death forms, and the circulation of Communicable Disease book or forms are carefully followed, as well as the statutory standard and body.
● To ensure strict control over the issue and retrieval of case notes and X-ray film (if any) with full duty, authority, and liability.
● To ensure medical coding ICD-10 in e-reporting complete monthly.
● To participate in all departmental and hospital activities.
● To assist the Head of HIMS in administration of the unit when needed.
