About this role

Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified APRN to join our team of healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will provide high-quality primary care services to patients across the lifespan, collaborating with physicians and other members of the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive and coordinated care.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide primary care services to patients of all ages, including diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care, and health maintenance.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests and imaging studies.
  • Prescribe medications and other treatments as appropriate.
  • Provide patient education and counseling on preventive care, health promotion, and disease management.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of care.
  • Document patient encounters and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice guidelines.
  • Stay current with advances in medical knowledge and best practices in advanced practice nursing.

Requirements

  1. Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  2. Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of Kansas.
  3. Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP), Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP), or another relevant specialty.
  4. Current DEA registration and prescriptive authority.
