About this role

Description

The Clinic Nurse will provide patient care by conducting patient assessments, administering treatment and medications, performing diagnostic tests, and arranging patient follow-up. Records medical history and symptoms, completing documentation in the medical record. Coordinate patient care, acting as a liaison with other organizations. Provides patient education before and after appointments, for the use of medical devices and equipment, and prescriptions.

Requirements

  1. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current, unencumbered State of Kansas LPN licensure, or temporary permit to practice issued by the Kansas State Board of Nursing required.
  2. CPR certification for Health Care Providers, is required or must be obtained within 90 days.
  3. A minimum of one year of primary care setting experience is preferred.
  4. FQHC experience preferred.
  5. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
  6. Current vaccination record meeting ACIP Healthcare Workers Recommendations required.
