We are looking for a Summer Trainee, Learning Design Specialist to join our Operational Excellence team at Business Unit Port Services, focusing on training-related topics. As a learning design specialist, you will play a vital role in assisting in various learning and development initiatives, and in the creation and publication of eLearning content using tools such as Articulate360 and SuccessFactor. Your responsibilities will include collaborating on the design and development of engaging eLearning materials, and contributing to the creation of various tools and reports that support business processes, while also providing assistance with any other pending L&D related tasks. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with experienced team members, enhance your cooperation skills, and build a network among the best talents in the industry. The job is located in Espoo with the possibility for partial remote work.

What kind of talent are we looking for?  

This role is ideal for a student passionate about learning design and operational excellence. You are welcome to Konecranes as yourself, but we especially value your good teamwork skills, hard-working and proactive attitude, and enthusiasm for developing yourself. Our work environment is highly international, so proficiency in English and the courage to work in an international work environment are important.

Requirements:

• Academic background in a relevant field (preferably 3+ year studies).
• Proficiency in using standard IT programs e.g., Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience in designing and developing eLearning content, for example, with tools such as Articulate360.
• Familiarity in Learning Management Systems (for example, SuccessFactor, Docebo) and reporting.
• A creative and proactive mindset.
• Attention to detail, ability to absorb information, excellent collaboration, presentation, and communication skills.
• Submission of a portfolio or work examples showcasing past experience in learning design is considered beneficial but not mandatory
